Hello
Could anyone please direct me to a site where I could find some
explanations about the sources and origins of all the names of characters
and places in the novel by Douglas Adams ?
Thank you much

Hi Juandimarco
Welcome to h2g2!
I'm not aware of anywhere on site that discusses these things, as we're not really a 'fan-site' as such. You might have more luck with http://www.floor42.com or http://www.douglasadams.com.
Feel free to browse around while you're here, though, and if I can be of any help, please just ask . Another friendly ACE has left a welcome message on your page as well which will offer more assistance.

When asked by his fans where his ideas come from DNA famously said from a mail order company in Indianapolis, but that he wasn't prepared to give their name.
And welcome to h2g2!
