hi can anyone help,i am trying to trace my greyhounds history,the tatoos in his ears are vd nnt,the first two letters in his right ear and the others in the left

It seems to be the production year of the dog, not really a history label, more something like best before.

your greyhound has an Irish earmark you should be able to find out its history by contacting the Irish Greyhound Studbook or the NGRC which is the governing body of greyhound racing in england
