h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hello.

I'm just quite curious. Has everyone that has ever used h2g2 read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? I have. It's just so amazing, how one book can bring together a community of people. If you haven't read the book and are just here for the pursuit of science, please say so.

First there were the radio series, then there was the book, then they completed the radio series and finally we now have the Movie . "

I believe your ACE,B'Elana,has read all of the books. She is very knowledgable about HHGG and Douglas Adams

But you're right, lil, not only have I read all the five books, but I have the radio series, too, plus the TV series, and I read 'The Salmon of Doubt' which made me join this site I have seen the new Movie, but wasn't very impressed

I don't think so.. but it was fun watching all the DNA experts putting their combined knowledge together

Yes, I recall that. I've only read one or two Dirk gently books, though

As our original copy of HHGG and the only Dirk Gently book we ever had disappeared when VC left home (over 10 years ago).. I can't even pretend to be knowledgable about any of them..

You should get your own copies of the HHGG then- not necessarily the fifth , it's the weakest imho

They were hubby's copies.. VC managed to 'borrow' a number of items, yet to be returned
