You are trying to print out a preview of shdodc.dll in your \windows\system32 directory using your web browser?

I must say I am rather confused, as I cant even find reference to a shdodc.dll file... shdoclc.dll, but no shdodc

Why do you even need to print it from your web broweser if you can print it using word anyway?

i think the RES//C:WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SHDODC.DLLPREVEIWDLG etc is part of the error message he/she is getting

oh yes, that would make some sense, apart from the fact that I really cant find any mention of that dll file .

I think that our Researcher friend is trying to print from IE and is getting a preview error message. They might try the following, at their own risk:

o Reinstalling Internet Explorer

BTW, it's also possible to select what you want to print in IE, copy it and paste it into word. If you select all (Ctrl-A) and do this, the page layout usually stays mostly in tact. Then you can print from Word.

I'd guess it's an IE fault myself. What version are you using?
