Linus...42, i guess that makes me the answer... Started conversation Dec 20, 2002
I'm hoping that means i've been sent by the mice rather than the other alternative mentioned.
All help gratefully received.

1 * 0 + 6 * ( -[0!] + 9 -[0!] ) =
42
(1 + 0) * 6 * (0 + 9 + 0) =
a 42ism
InvTan1 + 0 + 6 - 0 - 9 - 0 =
42
six7s
(waiting for Argon0 to protest about the use of InvTan... and then post some equally *ugly* concatenated method )

Why six7s.... IF I didn't know better I'd think you were trying to taunt me into a fight or something....
oooh that Invtan....
Oh.. BTW...
a 42ism is the standard...
i.e. 42ism for U106090 = (1-0) x -6 x (0! -9 +0!) = 42
A 42ism DNAStylee would be;
U106090 = 1x0 + 6 x (0+9+0) = 42...

4! = 4 * 3 * 2 * 1
3! = 3 * 2 * 1
2! = 2 * 1
1! = 1
0! also = 1 this can be *proved* by a variety of methods that I won't bore you with here...
I'll leave that for Argon0
and its too hot for a fight here mate

Argon0 (50 and feeling it - back for a bit) Posted Dec 23, 2002
Some of them WILL equal 54, but that's just because they are 6x9 which is the question......
Or, as I call it here: a 42ism DNA Stylee...
