Stretching Myself
So they asked us all to join
in that marvellous Stretcher thing
Stretched myself up to a point
Threw myself in with much zing.
But I must have got it wrong
Cause I've waited for so long
And so far they didn't mention
As they'd said was their intention
Non-contestants who submitted.
Must be me who is dim-witted,
Unlike Opti and McKay:
Successfully did they foray
Into t'glamerous Stretcher world
Where their stories they unfurled.
And the lesson I did learn?
For recognition not to yearn
I shouldn't aspire
To something higher.
