I have to agree with you on this one, there's something quite mesmerising about it.
I quite like it when it's cold and you need to wrap up - I love sitting watching a film with my blanket pulled round me!

Frenchbean,
Lovely pictures you paint with words, as good as your real paintings

Me too, Elentari,
Our real fire in the Winter is the one thing I look forward to come the cold dark nights.

Sitting round a campfire, well fed, tired after a long day's walk, as the sun goes down over the mountains. One of the pleasures of the west of Ireland.
There is something special about fire, and you evoke it well.
The sea is similarly hypnotic. Fire and water. Motion: constant, repeated, but never quite the same. Mesmerising.
Good writing.
TRiG.
