h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

You know that Arlo Guthrie protest song against the draft? And how if everyone sings along it becomes a movement and might actually have an impact?

Well, I think that fits our situation fairly well, but I'm no good at rewriting lyrics. I challenge one of you talented folks to come up with some h2g2 appropriate lyrics to fit this song.

I had so much fun re-writing (transforming, destroying?) BB King's 'There Must be a Better World Somewhere' into 'The [Removed by Moderator] Blues', aka 'The Goo Blues', that I'm pumped for more.

I'll look up the lyrics to Arlo's little ditty and see if I can't screw them up real g... I mean, compose new and meaningful lyrics suitable for the H2G2 Moderation Crisis

Some of Bob Dylan's stuff might work here, as well, but it is usually so d**n good as is...

Yep, Arlo's 'rap' actually varied depending on the mood/audience whatever, but was usually at least 15 minumtes long.

Wow. I don't even have time to read the whole talking blues part, but it looks good. How about other Arlo songs? Could we do anything with "The Motorcycle Song"? How about a rewrite of "Coming into Los Angeles?"
