Wierd. I was considering writing an article about this last night.
Good article, you might want to add some more info about the second, third and fourth books though.

Though since it is only about Space Oddessy wouldn't writing about the others be overkill?

I suppose, but you could write about the ways they extend on 2001 by explaining the full uses of the Monoliths and the future of Frank Poole. But that's just my opinion.

It would be here, but such articles could be written and linked to from this page.

I was surprised that no-one had written an article on 2001 yet, and so I thought that I'd better write one quickly before someone else did. You've got good points about mentioning the other novels, but I chose not to as I decided to write about 2001 itself, and not the sequals. But if you want to write about the sequals, then I'm more than happy for you to. Anything you'd like helkp with, let me know and I'll do all I can.

I'm glad that you all like it - and I'm also glad that there is discussion about people writing more related to this. I feel that there should be more articles related to 2001 - someone had attempted to write an Arthur C. Clarke article, yet it wasn't very complete. I feel that any attempt to write more should be encouraged - so please, if anyone does write something 2001 related, let me know, and I promise to give my utmost support, just as you have supported this article.
