This is not true. They won't have anything to do with dollars, and they DO have their own currency, the Luxembourg Franc. Unfortunately, it's not a very useful currency, as it can only be used in an area the size of a small English county (Shropshire, say), so there's lots of Belgian Francs in circulation too. However, in compensation, they do drink more beer than anyone else in Europe, including the Germans, and have bars that stay open until the owner decides it's time for some sleep.

I forgot to add that it's also unnervingly close to Belgium.
In fact, Belgium has a province called Luxembourg, and just to confuse
hapless tourists, it's right next to Luxembourg...

Actually Luxembourg and Belgium had monetary union in 1922, so the currencies are the same.
