Well! If you're going to be like that, I know when I'm not wanted.
Goodbye to you all.

I just don't like to be kissed without being asked nicely...
::pout:: Now I lost a friend I hadn't made...

Pandora...Born Again Tart Posted Jun 30, 2001
Well...AaD...I knew him well...
Perhaps if we chalk it up to hormones or something...
You would have really like B-17
I like him. *hugs AaC...returns to doing Gwennies hair orange*
"You're really looking good Gwennie! Witchy Woman!"
Startin' the coals again!!
Gwennie Posted Jul 1, 2001
*Cautiously puts a hand up to feel her hair and grins*
Thanks Pan!
Don't worry about young Babel being free with his kisses and hugs Dragonfly, it's just his way so we all humour him!
I'm sure that Pan will persuade him to come back soon...
*Winks at Pan*

...kicks Gwennie in the shin*snicker*
Why don't YOU ask him to come back? After all, you introduced me to him. I need to rest my arms just now
You do look lovely...even if I do have to say so myself!

::sings:: OOO OOOO Witchy Woman!!!
Guess who gets to see the Eagles in August!??
If you were my kid, Pan, I'd send you to your room for your naughty kicking!!!
Startin' the coals again!!
Gwennie Posted Jul 1, 2001
What? You have eagles nesting in your neck of the woods in August Dragonfly?
Yes but if Pan was indeed your kid Dragonfly, you'd also be worrying about who she was taking to her room with her!
*Ducks a swipe and dodges yet another kick on the shins from Pan*

YAY!!! BEATLES!!!
Startin' the coals again!!
Pandora...Born Again Tart Posted Jul 2, 2001
...I remember seeing them on the Ed Sullivan show in the 60's...
my Father complained...my Mother laughed my Sister swooned
and I ate popcorn. It really wasn't until Lennon wrote:'Imagin' that I took an interest. My friend 'Rick' has EVERY bit of music on tapes, records, 8 track & CDs...that thet Beatles put out! He has a jukebox in his party roon with ONLY Beatles!

Gwennie Posted Jul 3, 2001
The Beatles were a fantastic group and put many of the so called modern talent to shame.
Mind you, whilst most of my school friends were swooning over one or other of the "Fab Four", I had decided that I preferred Cliff Richard (more to be different I think)!
I did a similar thing in my early teens when most of my peers were "into" Rod Stewart or Mowtown groups, I stuck with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Genesis, David Bowie and Lou Reed.
Nowadays, my music taste (Or lack of it according to my hubby, John!) is sort of "eclectic".

More than 30 years ago, I used to sit in a big, blue, round
backed chair...infront of the picture windows...for I haven't a clue how many months went by...awaiting 'DAVEY' from the Monkees to come for me! AH-HAA! I remember my mother would try to reason with me:"Have you ever written a letter to Davey Jones?"
"No." "Well, how in the World wil he ever find you if he dosen't even know you're alive, not to mention this small Court we live on." She just didn't understand...I was gona' 'WILL' him to come to me! Then to top things off...they come out with the song Valerie! Mom looked a bit sacred there for a moment *snicker*
then chalked to up to coincidence. Only recently Pierce pointed out to me that the spelling of Valerie was NOT the same as I spell mine...it's Valeri or somthing. Isn't that odd...I think I wore out two records, replaying it so much. And I never once saw that the spelling was different. (I wonder if I knew then, what I know now, it would have made a difference in my self esteem?
Ooops, slipped into my sicentist mode for a sec.
Hey, I just shared a childhood fantasy I've never spoken of, to the World. Hmmm. I don't know about 'then'...but 'now' it seems to make no difference whatsoever. Guess the 'crush' is over.
