The Monkees television series was recently rerun here in the UK on a satellite channel and my kids thought it was very funny. 
The scary thing was my telling my kids that I was younger than them when I used to watch it!

A great name for a great chap (as in great around his tummy that is!)!
Men are usually so very good at reliving their childhood aren't they? My teenage daughter recently asked me why men are frequently portrayed as stupid and childish on television and I just had to tell her that individually men usually act normally, but collectively they tend to revert to hatchling state!

When I was young 
and my friends & I would walk up town,
we would interlink our arms & walk with one foot over the person's next to them. (Gwennie, shall I e you an explanation?)
Where's Cloughie? I was chatting w/him last night...or was it this morning? Whatever...wonder where he is? I'll just wait here.
