h2g2 on pre-mod

So, all of h2g2 is on pre-moderation, is it?
This is what it says above where I post
'Your Nickname is Cat-Eyes: Utter nutcase.
h2g2 is currently being pre-moderated. This means that you can post normally, but your Postings will not appear until they have been approved by a Moderator. This should take less than one hour.'
Can anyone shed some light on why all of h2g2 is being pre-modded? I'm sure there's probably a prefectly good reason, I'm just interested.
