The borg said it long before the cybermen started using terrible catchphrases. They just wanted to make them like the daleks, but they were so much cooler when they had cloth masks

Actually, ther Cybermen first said "Resistance is Futile" In Tomb of the cybermen
Personally I prefer the Silver Nemesis Cybermen

Don't know that one. I'm pretty sure my age was in single digits when I watched them all through. More recently I watched the first ever episode, and the genecis of the daleks. And their ghostlight thing...the one that didn't make any sense until you watch the extras where the writers talk about the extra episode that should have been part of that series, but they weren't allowed to have it.
My personal favourite baddie has to be the purple bubblewrap monsters, or the green bubble-wrap-and-seaweed monsters.
