Saying 'gay' is fine. It should not be starred out. It's not a swear word!

Are we going to get a definitive list of unacceptable swear words?
After all there is long, long list of available words, all with different levels of offensiveness. You start with mild things like "sugar" or "darn", and move through religious based words, through to body functions and body parts, and finally end up at the most extreme: "Manchester United".
