Just hoping we could stick our oar in before it's too late to point out that what works there might not be the best solution here.

It seems that none of the other sites has a standard format, and that the pictures on the front page are always a different size than on the articles they lead to. That could lead to a real headache, especially as it will require multiple versions of pictures to be saved and uploaded, so we'll also need a *lot* more server space that way.

(I notice today's front page blob has been reduced again to a puny 7.5 KB. If space is that tight, we can forget about big blobs...)

Also, even if the graphics are up for a week rather than a day, will we still need one per Entry? That only happens during extreme PR droughts now, and won't solve the problem of those we just can't illustrate.

I always used to work in .Gif...


I think it makes sence for us to do one image
so both the entry graphic and the FP image need to be the same dimentions
it would help if we could have bigger file sizes too
I did a couple of images for the collective
and they had huge file allowances why are ours so small?

For some reason, all our gifs are being changed to jpgs That means bigger file sizes, for the most part.

yeah that's why i worked in gifs you could do just that bit more

why is that sadface and not just sad
