No, you are!
I've now written up my version of events, and will enclose http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/galaxybabe/LondonMay2009#5334485275769789250 for publication, if it's allowed

It's a shame reddyfreddy missed the Temple Church out of your city walk, it's beautiful and you walked straight past it on your way from the High Courts to St Paul's

I'm sure we've seen that, too, Reefgirl. It's just that we've seen so many things that I can't remember them all as I didn't take notes during the walk. However, nearly everything was closed, bar the church we actually entered.
Oh, we saw the shop (it's now a takeaway) where Sweeny Todd allegedly had his premisses.

You have to go through an ornate wooden door into Inner Temple Lane, you can't miss it, it's a small round church and outside is a statue of 2 riders on a single horse (the Templar's symbol). You'd recognise it if you saw the Da Vinci Code

I've seen the Da Vinci Code, but it's been a while.
I do recall having seen something with 'Templar' in the name. Somebody else may remember better than me.

Thanks for the report, Bel, I love reading about meets. I'm glad you had fun and I'm very impressed by the turnout, especially from overseas researchers!

Thanks, Elentari.
Maybe you'll make it to London one day? I don't think I'll make it to anywhere else in England any time soon, I usually can only afford one 'foreign' meet a year and one in Germany if I'm lucky (funnily enough, going the 200km to Düsseldorf or Cologne cost me nearly as much as a flight ticket to London <roleyes>.

Hopefully. It's a long way and the trains are a rip-off, but hopefully. There's plenty of people (including yourself) that I'd like to meet.

Are you subscribed to the pages where the meets are being planned?
Maybe we'll have another one that's planned well in advance again. It helps cutting train(plain/hotel costs if you can book long before.
I'd really like to meet you, and others from 'up north'.

I'm not sure if I am, actually.
And I'll have you know I'm not from up north, I'm from the Midlands!
