This is my guide entry about Family Relationships, if anyone would like to comment please do

Hi! I think this is a good start, but that the entry could use some filling out. If you want it to be on "Family Relationships" in general, it could use some info on:

* grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
* step-families, half-siblings, and other kinds of "blended" families
* non-traditional families of all kinds
* extended families

Plus, this seems to have a definite "western civ" bias. Not that this is a necessarily bad thing, but I would either add info on other cultures or change the title.

And, it may just be me, but I think the article could be juiced up wiht some statistics here and there. What's the average family size in different places? What % of families are single-parent families? What % of 2-parent families have both parents working outside the home?

I think this entry should either be retitled to "immediate family" or expanded greatly.

Please tell us what you want to do with it.

Hmmm.... Leanne doesn't seem to have been around for quite awhile.

Personally, I think that even if it was retitled to "Immediate Family" that it would need some expanding -- immediate families are considerably more heterogeneous than this entry lets on.

That being said, this is a great topic for an entry, and I would hate to see it just dwindle away.

What do y'all think?
