Dear AA,
My family and friends are claiming I am an Internet addict! I don't know where they get this idea from ...I mean doesn't everyone have friends with nicks (I mean names) like panzer, d-nice, etc. Just 'cos I get my news from CNN.com, my books from Amazon, etc. doesn't mean I'm addicted. My award for ISP user of the month was a fluke, really! They can always reach me ...all they have to do is email!

Addict Smaddict, instead of distracting you by complaining about the amount of time you spend
on the Internet they should applaud you for your ability to think ahead. You are now able to
do twice the stuff in half the time :-). No more running from store to store looking for items
or wasting time switching channels trying to find the scoop on what is happening IRL :-)
Besides, they should be glad that they can email you, there are probably lots of email
deprived families out there who would just love to have the privilege of reaching their loved
ones anytime anywhere :-). As for their apparent non-understanding of your brilliance, I
suggest you refer them to : www.Daddy-who's-the-strange-lady-glued-to-the-puter?.org.
After they have contacted this site they should see your side of the situation and agree
with it fully. If not then the only suggestion I have for you would be to resign yourself to
knowing that they just have a malfunction in their programing. You can try having your loved
ones windows cleaned or processors upgraded but I make no promises that it will help this
programing glitch.
