Hi Eds perhaps it better if I take this one out again as I keep meaning to get round to it but haven't settled down to do it and not sure when I will.

But don't let it disappear entirely! (Nor yourself )

It's not looking far from being ready for submission, so don't swipe it away from us too swiftly. It's a really nice Entry already, but anyone willing to suggest some quick easy fixes to get this finished?

I don't think there's a "quick" fix. Perhaps you can try to find a sub-editor willing to take on the challenge of a re-write...

I still think it's not really the content that's the problem. The missing list of works can be added in quickly. It's just not coming across to me why Opti is writing (or why someone else should want to read about) this particular author - as it stands, I think the only people who will read it are people already interested in Tove Jansson. It needs a little...enthusiasm, for lack of a better word.

Perhaps it just needs a different introduction. Why don't you just write a few sentences to tell us what you find fascinating about her, Opti? I doubt it's the fact that she won medals

Hi Opti. Take your time on this one, if you want, there's no rush. Mal is just making the point that it might be good to isolate the one thing that has drawn you - and others - to Jansson's work, and use that as the starting point for the introduction.

We still think it's near to be being finished, as it's just a few tweaks here and there that are required. It's still a nice Entry and a worthy subject, so it would be great if you could complete it.
