Your answer pre-supposes that seeing your future would make it an absolute. This is not necessarily so.
More importantly, what if you ARE right and the future self you see is what you will certainly become, consequences of seeing the future included? Perhaps the you in the future, knowing to expect you watching could make sure (s)he has:
-a clock and calendar with them, so you'd know WHEN you were seeing (so you would know when to have all the stuff I'm going to list with you in the first place)
-a list of things to do and information for your future (in theory, by having this you will be able to ensure you become the future you and also make sure your future meets with your own approval)
