There is a mistake in the entry (which I wrote). It says that Galileo invented the telescope. This appears to be not true, so the entry should be reworded slightly to reflect this.

Section "I is for Io"

"Galileo just after he invented the telescope" should become "Galileo just after he built his first telescope".

Section "T is for Telescope"

Second paragraph. The first two sentences should be replaced with the following:

It is not known exactly who invented the telescope, but the astronomer Galileo Galilei was one of the first people to build one.

Sorry to be pedantic but I think there are records suggesting who invented the telescope (a Dutch optician or something) I just can't remember who.

There's some doubt about that, because somebody else, a Belgian, tried to patent the idea at the same time, so it may have been invented independently by a few different people.

I always thought that G was one of the first to turn the telescope skyward. It had been around but he applied it to astronomical purposes.

Anyway, it's going on the list for an update.
