A Conversation for An Introduction to Frank Zappa

I see Rykodisc are still not offering any track listing or band details on the Live Aussie Frank album.
Do you think this is strange?
It's as if they want everyone to sign up to get their name on the cover (which will be extremley thick with 5,000 names) before anyone can see the contents!!!
I hope this is not the case as they have always seemed to be an extremley conciencious company (excuse spelling - v.v. quick posting!)

Oh, sorry, missed this!
Um. They are doing a lot of mystery stuff nowadays.
I think they are steadily emptying the barrel of the backlog Frank was working on before he died.
I picked up a copy of "Cheap Thrills" at the store the other day and was vastly disappointed.

I've been on to the Zappa Family Trust and the release date is now the end of August, due to problems with the cover? but still no track or band details!

Ouch, it's been a long time. Well finally Zappa in Oz is out on the 25th Nov. A double CD, a lot of the tracks have been taken from Overnite sensation, One size Fits all and (!). Some of my fav. albums!!

No, it's on Ranch Life ...... never heard of them!
I assumed that all Zappa stuff would always be on Rykodisk!

That sounds like a plan.

Did I mention that I actually play bass?

No. But that's okay. It's a guitar, too.
Just ask Stanley Clarke.
