We had the same problem every time we had twin lambs. (Which was usually. With Romanov sheep, single lambs are rare and quadruplets frequent!) smiley - blacksheepsmiley - blacksheep

We had Romulus and Remus (twin orphan lambs who were raised by our sheepdog smiley - laugh) and Diamond and Daisy. Also gerbils called Mischka (Russian for "little mouse") and Muckla (a kind of little animal spirits from a children's book)

You can't have Rosencrantz and Guildenstern as everyone knows that according to Tom Stoppard, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead

Gnomon - time to move on

They're female pigs, so Finn wouldn't be appropriate.

Good point about Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, though.smiley - smiley

The least unfavourite names at the moment are Domino and Fudge, but there's at least one person that objects to each of these names.

Gnomon - time to move on

We stuck a pin in a Sky Movies magazine last night to choose names: the nearest female name to the pin was to be the choice. We came up Holly Golightly, so one of the piggies is now Holly.

The second name came up as Shark Nicole. We've a relative called Nicole, so this second name isn't suitable. We abandoned that method and stuck a metaphorical pin in the atlas, landing just south of the island of Hydra in Greece. This put us in mind of a hotel we stayed in near there called Daphne, so some of us favour the name Daphne, while one of us wants Bizet.
