As a former lighting designer (and spot op, and page turner, and run crew, and girl hanging from the theatre ceiling) in school theatre who usually ended up being conned into being the run crew, even at productions she had had nothing to do with until she showed up to see the show (moral: always show up early dressed in black, because the tech crew will not because they, unlike you, don't give--and you may have to learn how to run the show in that amount of time)--this is hilarious and this is what life is like--only in school theatre you have even less time and the director kills more people.
