I know i already submitted a version of this one once, but i've done some tinkering with it, and i don't think it competes with the other entry now... would you please reconsider it?

G'day sea. It's an excellent yarn but, alas, in my opinion, it still has a naming problem.

Personally, I have a problem will all yarns starting with the words "A" or "The". Articles starting with these words in their names are hard to track down through the h2g2 index. As an example: If I was looking for a story on Cement I would look under C. I wouldn't fnd anything because the h2g2 entry on cement is named "The History Of Cement". Ideally this heading should read "Cement, The History".

I'm not sure if you saw this response from the h2g2 staff editors to your earlier submission

Great entry, but probably needs a name change so that it complements rather than competes with Theatre Lighting Technicians at

How about Preparing for Theatre Opening Night - a Backstage Perspective?
Even if it is a bit long.

Can you ask the author to change it - and don't forget to close off the thread.

Hope that helps...
Loony

*aside*: I'm glad you decided to make the effort to rename it.

*ponders*
I think probably no - there is a slight danger that people might pass over it because of the title problem - but not a serious one, I think. See how it goes.

How about "High School Technical Theatre"? Less wordy - or "Being in H.S.T.C." - more accurate. Just thoughts.

[sea] i was going for "catchy", but i can see how that could come off as wordy...

[sea] well, then there's the obvious reason that if someone was searching for "technical theatre", they wouldn't be looking under "h"
