I have just finished writing my latest mathematicial article. I feel it deserves to be edited (I feel like I am writing a tie-braker ) because it gives a pretty complete description of the derivation of both the binomial expansion and the binomial co-efficients and their use in combinatorics. I have tried to include some history as well.
I have tried to write in an easy to follow style, but some maths is a prerequisite to following the article.
If you see some odd escape codes etc then they are mathematical notation that will need to be processed by the Towers.
Let me know what you think

Rewrite the first paragraph to be a gentle introduction. As it is, you will lose 99% of the readers in the first line. I know this is an article about a mathematical topic so it obviously has to involve mathematics. But if you can introduce people to it slightly slower, some might stop to read it and be interested rather than saying "this article is too difficult for me" right at the start.
Perhaps to make it more interesting, you could give the example of the chances of getting "Match 5" in the UK lottery (or whatever is appropriate). This might interest some people and would be an example many people could relate to. The biggest problem most people have with mathematics is the lack of concrete examples.

It looks good! Anythings else that *needs* changing should be done by the sub-editor. Although I can't think of anything myself.
