Seeking a soulmate
Bright Blue Shorts Started conversation Dec 4, 2000
Tall, good-looking (some have said sexy) male, almost 30, seeks a soulmate to spend the rest of his life with. I enjoy long walks in the countryside or at the beach; and would love to find someone to snuggle up to, next to the fire in my cottage on those long dark, winter nights. I'm financially secure, but money doesn't bring happiness and I seek that special someone to spend the rest of my life with (as well as our childrens!). I'm intellectual, sensitive and like to stay in shape, I visit the gym or play sports 2 or 3 times per week. If you think you might be my type then click on the reply and make me laugh

yummmmmm... firesides are just like sunbeams.... delicious! how is your curiousity factor, hmm? and are those shorts tight fitting?

Yep firesides are life's indoor sunbeams .... but they're even better because if you gaze into them you can watch them dance and play, they never stay still. They're unpredictable in what they do which keeps your interest and they create patterns of beauty, but they're predictable in that they'll always be there for as long as you continue to feed and look after them ...... They also have the advantage over sunbeams because you can gaze at their source without burning your retina out
Curiosity factor is alway high, many things out there looking for explanations. For example why is curious spelt with a 2nd 'U", but curiosity isn't?
As for shorts, no, I don't go for the tight fitting variety. Its far too uncomfortable to have them pressing onto my muscle-y (how'd u spell that?) thighs, much prefer a freedom of movement .....

Hi,
I'm Charlotte (or charlie)....and i'm 26 years old. I agree about what you said about money, it's really not that important, (apart from when you wanna buy that dream cottage in the country)!! The best times are being with your soulmate, up late at night talking for hours, drinking hot chocolate and having marite toast!!!
Thats what makes me happy...
Ps. how come you haven't found a soulmate already, you sound fab!!

It'll be those bright blue shorts - I've seen them; enourmous Hawaian efforts that swing to and fro when he walks... and in winter as well

Charlie - unfortunately soulmates are not something you can just go down to Tesco's and buy. I mean I did try one week, but when I got to aisle 5 they'd already run out of stock Same thing down at Sainsburys, Waitrose and Kwiksave. Sometimes though we meet our soulmate and are just too busy to recognise them, scared to believe it might be true or maybe it's just the wrong time in life ..... Marmite and a cup of hot chocolate in front of the fire sound nice though
Ricky - for a moment there I thought you had seen them. However I wear "volleys" in pref to "boards", just the kind of guy I am. You're right about the winter thing though, I must admit I couldn't manage them in the deepest winter but I started wearing them again Jan 20th this year and they're still getting an airing at the moment. That the lucky thing about hairy legs, provides home-made insulation.

are you as good at 'tending' to a female's needs as you are that of a fire? and the comment about the shorts was just a little joke ... maybe i am too subtle?
a comment about soulmates... many times they can be cultivated from deep friendships. who knows maybe you've known your soulmate for years and just never realized it...
(burns the retina, eh? maybe that's why my eyes have been sore....)
