Andy Asteroids? Not quite, but close enough...

Post 41

Lord Byancbaldich a.k.a. Ancba, posting as Flopsy the Catrabbit coz he's in the Unknown Regions

[Flopsy] Huh. I wonder why he needed the plywood, then?

Giguschild - Xenomorph(Muse of Honourable Death...and Mu.)

For this!

Giguschild pulls a short block of plywood from his suit pocket, and incants a short spell. The plywood dissapears, and then appears just behind Flopsy's head.

*Whap!*

It whacks him upside the seemingly extraneous appendage.

*Idle chat costs lives, you know. 19 posts before you both need to take really deep breaths and hope that you're at least five posts away from exiting the ship*

*KL snaps his fingers, and a robot resembling ZERO takes the wood, and leaves the room (presumably to throw it onto the fire in the underlings Break Room)*

Giguschild - Xenomorph(Muse of Honourable Death...and Mu.)

*Sigh*

If you must...!

The pair continue down the now accessible corridor. Strange, almost floobly lights guide their way. What awaits the two heros? Only time can tell.

*Several insect-sized robots begin filling the passageway behind them. The robots begin to swarm in the general direction of the heroes, clanking their sharp teeth all the while. At the next bend, the heroes come to a very unstable looking rope bridge which spans an immense pool of lava*

UH: good thing I brought my corrosive-acid gauntlet. It should make short work of these critters. By democracy.

*UH makes short work of the robots*

UH: By democracy, KL, you'll have to do better than that. Gigus, i believe I'm beginning to get short of breath. we should get a wiggle on.

*our two heros get a wiggle on*

*KL grins as the villains begin crossing the bridge*

This is just *too* easy! Wait until they see what's waiting for them at the end of this bridge!

Unless you're really Giguschild, Kudos, or UH, nothing happens. Um, my apologies, but you can't be in there right now if you are not one of the aforementioned superheroes (or Kudos). It breaks continuity you know, and we can't have broken continuity.

Although if those heroes (or Kudos) don't post soon, I'll start dramatically decreasing the amount of time they have left...

Okay, UH. Everyone, we're on lunch break until Giguschild shows up again!

*A buzzer sounds, the camera crew and stage hands begin talking to each other, asking each other where they're going for lunch, etc.*

Oh, and Uncle Heavy, if Gigus doesn't post here soon after I see any possibility of his existence back on h2g2 again, the countdown will be restarted, with villains allowed to take up your time.

Now, Evil One, while you, I, and even the entire world of supervillainy would prefer the direct and "simple" approach, we are bound by rules, as are the heroes. These rules are set in place so that the villains can be guaranteed safety while they work on evil plans, and guarantees that the heroes will never be truly destroyed in the act of foiling these plans. It is a mutually beneficial, almost symbiotic, if you will, relationship between the heroes and villains. Because of this relationship and series of ever-repetetive patterns and plot devices that we are bound to follow, we can be guaranteed that we will each exist, and we will each continue to receive payment from movies, TV shows, comic books, video games, and many other various forms of media. I mean, what's universal domination worth if your comic book flops? What good is a totally free and safe planet if the watchers of the TV show get bored because of the fact that nothing bad happens?

This is why I can't just kill Gigus and UH right now. However, I *can* kill off Kudos should that become the situation. Especially since Kudos is a personal threat to heroes and villains alike. smiley - winkeye
