Well done. Re. Obama I have just read his two books, and I have to say I think what you see is what you get, if the other politicians will let him. He pulls no punches, is intelligent and educated.

Two changes, please:

Remove the word 'special' in that sentence. I mean it. ('Special somebody' sounds like a Hallmark card.)
Bullet point:>>It is required that the Bible be used...<<
Remove 'On the other hand'. If you feel that an introductory phrase is absolutely needed there, say, 'In contrast...' or 'Another deviation from custom was when John Quincy Adams...' (A Catholic missal and a lawbook are not opposites.)
