Spiders are mostly good. True, the brown recluse is a nasty nuisance, and we have an epidemic of them in our house. Almost every night, we have to kill one or two in our living room. But the good thing about the BR is that they are not at all aggressive. They are a very shy creature and prefer to be left alone. Just thought I would pass that info along to would-be spider haters. By the way, be kind to the ordinary house spiders--wolf spiders, jumping spiders, crab spiders, etc. They make good house guests as they eat their weight in flies every day.
