how do you find new members for the team
sunny Started conversation Mar 2, 2002
hi there
is there any way/place to find out about you looking for new members while the jobs are still open for applying?
greetings (and _thanks_ for all the effort you're putting into h2g2!)

Firstly, in answer to your question, the job details get posted at www.bbc.co.uk/jobs. It'd be nice to be told onsite, but I'm not sure if it's acutally possible to.
Secondly, the h2g2 announcements page is intended for the towers to post to, and many Researchers subscribe to it. A better place to post would be at h2g2 Feedback...

Thanks for replying Whoami?
Whoami's right, all job vacancies on h2g2 are posted on the BBC jobs website, they're often, but not always, advertised in the Guardian as well.
We have advertised on h2g2 for people in the past, and we probably would again, if it were a post that we thought was particularly applicable to the Community. People who want to work with us often make themselves known anyway, like Linda, our new Community person. So if anyone is keen on joining the team feel free to send in your CV, you never know!

They are! I said
"Shame you're based in London though", espressing my wish that they be based somewhere else - Nottingham or Cambridge would be good for me

There are too many people in it. And if I worked for h2g2 I'd have to travel there every day
Although I don't suppose it would be so bad from Cambridge if they paid me enough (hint hint nudge nudge).

I've read that Entry, was very interesting. But hey, I've got to graduate first, unless they want summer temporary MaWs... * crosses fingers *
