strange email problem

I have a strange problem with email.
I am trying to become 100% linux based, but I can't seem to find which email programs don't do the silly trick of making pictures in html email become attachments.
while I normally wouldn't mind, it is important for one of the e-newsletters that I am responsible for.
anyone got any helpfull info on this one?
