Anyone know of a good IM client that can do MSM?
I have been using Everybuddy but recently it's not been working for me (even running the CVS version)

The one I always remember is Jabber... but I don't use instant messaging, so I couldn't tell you what it's like.

I tried the latest versionof everybuddy from the CVS last night adn it worked. Not sure why this one did and the others didn't. I think I'll give the stable version another go tonight and see if that does the trick (the CVS version crashed twice on me).

Gaim is my favourite. Its stable, and supports all the major chat networks, incluing IRC. Informative sounds (optional) and nice simple user interface. I think It' designed for GNOME but I have no problems with it on KDE.
Get it from http://gaim.sourceforge.net/ .

There's a surprisingly good MSN client written in Tcl/Tk that I'm using now called ccmsn - you can find it by searching on http://freshmeat.net
It looks a little ugly thanks to using Tk for the GUI, but it works very well.
