Weird creatures..

They are just fascinating are'nt they. Another one that is realy strange is the Axilotl (sp?) a relative of the salamander. They have one at Kew gardens, though you have to know where to look. Lucky for me MMF new just where to find it. It looked like a ghost in a deep pool.

Venus, yes they are. I could have written pages on them, but decided to save some for another time. I find insects (close up) are the most amazing creatures, some plug ugly and others beautiful, but there is such an amazing variety, all with a purpose, and place in the scheme of things.
I had heard of the Axilotl somewhere, so I had a quick look on the Net. Lucky you to have a knowledgeable guide to such things

Bea, thanks for doing the links. I shall probably do another article on creatures at some stage. I know snippets and odd things, but it is good to do the research as I learn stuff too - remembering it afterwards is a different matter. My husband says my brain stores too much rubbish, and not the essential stuff My brain stores it all, but can't find it later
