Right
This is an entry about BP's role in guiding
Which is why I have only breifly mentioned army scouting
I feel a more indept look at what army scouting is would be better in an entry about BP's life, which this is not
Again this is an entry about his role in guiding.

In the para where you mention a contingent of girls attending the first Scouts rally at Crystal Palace, it might be worth saying s'thing like, 'MUCH TO THE SURPRISE OF b-p' (coz they weren't invited/expected)
Typos:
They dcided that the would finance the bureau from an annual qota of £1 per 1000 Girl Guides/Girl Scouts ... > quota
The World Bureau is now called the Olave Center and is situated in the grounds of Pax Lodge the newest of the four Guiding World Centers > centre and centres.

"Guiding World Centers"
Is this an official name or just a description? The capital letters suggest that it's a title. In that case, the spelling might be fixed and shouldn't be changed.
TRiG.

It's a discription but the always put it in capitals which is why I have and I did check the spelling and itbig al is right, but when guiding refers to them as a group like that they always use capitals which is why I have

We understand that this is an entry about LBP's role in Guiding - you've made that quite entirely clear. But that doesn't mean that you can put things in the entry without explaining them or even knowing what they mean. If you don't know what the army scouting bit means, and don't want to bother finding out, then just delete that sentence -- that takes care of it.
As was an issue with one of your earlier entries, this one does seem a little too closely similar to this one in places -- http://www.infed.org/walking/wa-scout.htm -- especially in the paragraph directly after the "A Scouting Start" header.

"Guiding is still as big today as it ever was" - how about adding some proof? Here are some facts lifted from the Girlguiding UK site:
# Girlguiding UK has more than 600,000 members in the UK.
# Half of the women born in the UK have belonged to Girlguiding UK at some point in their lives.
# The Association's adult members and helpers give ten million voluntary hours a year – that's equivalent to 5,500 full-time jobs.
# More than a quarter of eight-year-old girls in the UK is a Brownie.
Also, how about some facts about what the first Guides actually did? http://www.girlguiding.org.uk/xq/asp/sID.67/qx/new/about/article.asp has a lot of info you could use

I don't know, Cyzaki -- I would definitely include all of that info in an entry that was about the history of Girl Guiding as a whole -- but that's really not what this is.

I agree
Don't forget this is about Lord Baden-Powell's role in guiding, not the History of guiding.
Your lossing sight of what the entry is about

Just a footnote to say how many people are in Girlguiding UK today? I really think it'd help.
Also, it was quite a big thing that the original Guides couldn't do the same as the boys did in Scouts, as it wasn't at all ladylike, so just an indication of the sorts of things they did instead would help, I think.

There's an entry on Olave B-P in PR at the mo - is it yours? You should link to it.
Typo: "them , dressed in variations" under "Girls Get in on the Act".
Lucky for you, I came accross my old Guide Handbook today, so here is what it says: "though it was much more difficult for girls in those days to get themselves out and about, they too formed themselves into Patrols of Girl Scouts and did all the things the boys did."
and about the rally at Crystal Palace :
"Among all the thousands of Boy Scouts there was also a group of girls, who spoke to B-P and asked him to let girls be Scouts.... B-P knew if he called the girls Scouts, not only would the boys be annoyed that girls were joining in, but parents would be unhappy about their daughters becoming tomboys. ... There was an Indian regiment called the Kyber Guides who served on the North West frontier of India. They were famous becasuse they were trained to do almost anything, worked hard, could look after themselves and had lots of common sense.
So he ersuaded them that guides was a special name.
Is it worth mentioning that there are more than 8 million guies in the world?

Sorry, I see the Olave entry wasn't yours. The army scouting refers, I think, to what B-P saw at the siege of Mafeking, where young boys made themselves useful by carrying messages, often in dangerous conditions.
