Napier, New Zealand declared itself nuclear free many years ago. Alas, visitors don't know this because the signs at the city boundary were blasted to pieces by gun-toting vandels and have been taken down.

That kind of reminds me of the signs in every (read: both, and Yes Salt Lake does indeed have a Hard Rock) Hard Rock Cafe's I have seen. To whit(sp?) "No guns, knives, or nuclear weapons" or something along those lines.

I love it. I've never actually noticed it in a hard rock cafe- the two I've been in(new york, boston) - but then I wasn't looking.
