Hi, Good entry. However I would add that the Little Owl is an introductee, and not a native British owl. Also I believe that the Snowy Owl was resident until some time in the '70's. The Eagle Owl is an occassional migrant, although generally the birds seen are escapees.
Hope that helps.
Anything on Long-eared owls (although they aren't ears!)? One thing I do know is that they sleep close to the trunks of trees, making them almost impossible to see.
Short eared owls are reckoned to be the only native british owl to be diurnal, rather than nocturnal. This is assuming that the little owl is classed as non-native, as it, too, is diurnal.
Cheers,
Owls of Great Britain.

Thanks; a very slow work in progress as you can tell by the big gaps....
Cheers for the comments anyway!

You are welcome. Didn't want to step on any toes. Being a keen Birdwatcher (not a Twitcher) I thought it may help. Any further assistance, just contact me.
