I am about to do the I.B. two-year course in Australia. However, the idea of doing six hours of homework a night is scaring me a bit. Do you have any suggestions?

Yes, next school year I'll too be embarking on the two IB years in a bit of a different setting, Georgia in the U.S. But realistically, those six hours per night cannot be all that bad. Mind you, all the assignments, projects, papers, etc., are not for no purpose; they're review and reinforcement, and so on. Aside from complimenting the work, and promoting it, I have a feeling that you--and I--will just learn how to deal with it, to establish a sort of equilibrium between academics and the rest of life. Good luck anyway.
