PP: Update 14/8

With a glut of 0-0s, it's been a strong week for the league's defences. This week's winner is Psycorp, with 18 points, catapulting him into the top of the table position, somewhere he'll be completely unfamilair with. Drawing a blank this week are McKay and Demon Drawer, the latter's zero points leaving him rock bottom - a place that, as a Livingston fan, he'll feel right at home in. <biggrin<

Form is temporary, class is permanent. I think you'll find that DD and I occupied similar positions this time last year - and look what happened then. smiley - winkeye

Yes, you finished bottom and third to last respectively. But again, as a Coventry fan, I would expect you to have grandiose expectations. smiley - winkeye

I prefer the term 'out of the relegation places,' which Coventry fans view as their right.

Actually, when I first when to Coventry games they were in the (old) 3rd division, and I supported tham as rose triumphally through the leagues - for me Coventry was about success smiley - ok

(Then I woke up)

You should really read my Ashes entry, GD, keep track of whats going on smiley - nahnah

I did read it, at least for tone, style and subject matter, and got a bit worried that it was sports reporting rather than EG stuff. But that's a different discussion.

I didn't bother taking in the facts in the entry as they 1) mean nothing to me and 2) I care even less.

Sorry. It's just not my sport smiley - shrug

I know that, but I was being serious.

Actually what I most impressed with here is the topic drift. I've seen loads of PR threads drift from the topic in hand to some other place entirely. But I've never seen one drift in the opposite direction before smiley - laugh

Spot the Difference...

Master B - "heaven alone knows what persuaded Psy to buy Reo-Coker"

Football365.com - "And that Reo-Coker chap looks a fair player, doesn’t he?"

I know I'm milking it, but it's not often I'm proved right when Master B makes a statement in opposition to something I say or do...
