MMI's a great column, and I'm sure that a new Mr (0r Mrs/Miss/Ms) Inquisitor would become a fast favourite, but I just can't think up new and interesting questions and angles every month.

Yes, I imagine it's difficult, especially if you don't know the interviewee very well.

If the suggested new scheme takes off, RR will have run its course, too, and become obsolete, so I'd best think about something else, too.

I don't see that the idea we're discussing would make this obsolete, Bel - in fact, I think it would make it *more* important and relevant. Let's see how it develops before jumping to any conclusions; at the moment, it's simply an interesting discussion
