Righty-ho, we're back in business
At Ormy's suggestion, this week's set of matches comes from the first round of the great and wonderful FA Cup.
Burscough v Gillingham
Grimsby v Bristol Rovers
Lincoln City v MK Dons
Kettering v Stevenage
York v Grays Athletic
All selections to be in round about lunchtime on Saturday, 5th October.

Great to see the game back, GD, and I'm glad you liked my Cup idea. I love the FA Cup - I just hope my Bradford boys' involvement lasts for more than one match for a change!

I just wish we'd done this last week. I had 4-1 to Middlesbrough all lines up...
that's a tricky set of matches, I predict a low scoring week...

It is rather that we have the chance to pick a scorer called Marvin this week, isn't it?
'Here I am, brain the size of a planet, and they want me to play against Franchise FC. Call that job satisfaction? 'Cause I don't.'

I really wanted to put AFC Wimbledon in this week's group. But sadly they went out a couple of rounds ago

What the hell are Kettering doing in a Northern League? Surely Kettering is south of Watford Gap. I would have though Kettering v. Stevenage was almost a local derby.
Hey ho.
Burscough 1-0 Gillingham (Drew Hyland) - Ripe for a giant* kill surely.
Grimsby 2-0 Bristol Rovers (Michael reddy)
Lincoln City 2-0 MK Dons (Gary Birch)
Kettering 2-3 Stevenage (Anthony Elding)
York City 0-2 Grays Athletic (Jamie Slabber)
And if I manage many points this week I'll be well chuffed
Using the word giant in its most loose sense naturally.
