As with the other one, there's not much of a difference from the original. Note that I haven't been through the entire list of pages deciding which should be updated - that's for both the updater and the community at large to decide. I just wish they'd at least comment on them.

I have added a paragraph.

"Please don't abuse the complaints button by using it for correcting spelling; please instead ask the author or an Editor to do it for you."

That's not accurate - authors can't edit their posts and you shouldn't encourage users to ask the Eds to correct spelling. It should be:

"While we appreciate that posts on h2g2 can't be edited by their authors once posted, please don't use the complaints button for such things as spelling corrections."

Oh I see. I was using editor as both Sub-Editors and Editors as both can edit edited guide entries.

Anyway I have sorted it out.

Not really. The Editors can edit anything, whereas the Sub-editors only edit Recommended Entries given to them, which then go on to become Edited Entries. Meanwhile, the Curators are allowed to edit Edited Entries in order to sort out any problems and to update entries.

Oh I see. Thankyou for explaining. I am learning new things everyday on h2g2.

I feel rather guilty for not paying more attention to the help page update project. I should.

I'll try to take a look at these later today.
