A Tale and a Trick

I was speaking with a doctor friend of mine, and he related this story to me:
A patient had just come in with a deep cut to the leg as a result from a biking accident. The wound was perfectly clean. It could have been out of a textbook. The doctor was puzzled by this. Next to the patient was a bottle of ether. One of the nurses accidentally spilled some of the ether onto the wound. As soon as the ether hit the wound, a tremendous swarm of maggots exited from the leg.
As for my personal trick, I am capable of putting my leg over my head, a well as being able to press the thumb, index, and pinkie fingers on my right hand against the back of my hand. I can also bend the last joint on all of my fingers without bending the intermediate joint, and curve my fingers backward.

That seems so unlikely... surely you'd be able to see the maggots moving beneath the skin? And how long was this? It'd take a while for the maggots to move in...

it is possible but here is the only way i can think that is happened if the rider fell in a pile of rubish the magottots may not of had choice about moving in to the wound and then they would have stayed there as it would be a good source of food for them and if they were in deep enough they would remain hidden by the fatty layer under the skin this would explain it being a clean wound

Maggots eat only dead flesh, so they are sometimes used at a medical aid, to clean off gangrenous flesh. This makes it extremely unlikely that the man had maggots inside his leg.
My brother can blow bubbles out of his eyes, through his tear duct. He can also stick his tongue up his nostrils (one at a time). He's a charming bloke!
