Haylle (Nyssabird) ? mg to recovery Started conversation May 23, 2003
I'd be interested to know if anyone is thinking of an English meet sometime around the Christmas holidays...

We do normally hold one in January, although if you're going to be in the country, I'm sure we could hold a mini-meet of some sort at a time that suits you better.

Never denied it , and I'm not trying to hide, just trying on new names for size. A
would have realised striaght away who it was

I'm afraid it all depends on where, as far as I'm concerned. If it's local, I can make it. If it's not, I can't.

Good point. For me, anywhere within a couple of hours' train journey from Manchester would be local. Otherwise, I'd have to find a place to sleep, and that means costs shoot up.
Alternatively, depending on how close it is to Christmas, I might have gone home to Essex, in which case somewhere in London would be perfectly adequate.

As I've already said to Nyssa and Njan (who like WilliamandMary are now officially indivisible), I'm happy to take on organizing this one, a little nearer the date.
Watch the Skies, and this space, for details later.

Ha, that may be snow in some parts of the country, but where I'm from 'snow' means "three feet of white stuff overnight and white-out conditions". Do not confuse the south with Britain as a whole.
