Yipes! You spent as much time explaining the game as Tony LaRussa takes to manage one. Most of your comments are good, except that you have the second baseman and shortstop reversed and that you have the catcher backing up third--which he would never do because it leaves the next base open.
But these are small quibbles! You're obviously digging the world's greatest game. And there's no better time to love it because it's playoff time. So flip on the television and watch a few games to further your knowledge. You'll get to hear lots of sportcasters over-analyzing the game. You might even hear Jim Gray try to embarass Pete Rose again!
