Unfortunately the weather that caused the British Grand Prix to be such a mud bath could happen any time of year in Britain. It's just a little bit less likely in summer but not much!
Silverstone should try to improve there sites drainage!

Aaah but they've moved it forwards a week to May so it can't possibly rain now
They definitely need to do something as despite the fact that I thought the mud was really quite amusing, when you watch the other circuits there's only Spa that actually has similar problems and that's fairly justified because it's such an amazing track but even in the nicest weather Silverstone is just one giant dust bowl
