Shazz, do you want something on the mathematical basis of our "Equal Temperament Scale"? I wrote an article which is not suitable for publication:

You are welcome to copy stuff out of it or tidy it up, change it and publish it under your name or whatever you like. I am not in the mood for doing this at the moment. On the other hand, sometime over Christmas, I might have a look at making it really neat and explanatory.

I am sorry that I have taken so long to reply to your offer of help... I have been snowed under with Post work and have only managed to sign on again as shazz and catch up this last week.
I will have a look at your work as, of course, the mathematics of music is all important when disecting and discussing scales!
