Hi Bossel,
I like this entry of yours, it's very informative. But I'm not sure, if it isn't a bit too long for the sub-editors, you know.
There is one point, where I think, you could think it over: the names.
Maybe you should put some footnotes, to make English translations for: Untergrund-Bahn, S-Bahn, Streifenkarte and the railway stations (Haupt- and Ostbahnhof).
And I'm not sure, but isn't the railway name now Deutsche Bahn?
A good one, Bossel

Thanks a lot, Kasia.
You are right: yes, I should shorten things to the essence; yes, it is the Deutsche Bahn; yes, some names can be translated.
Why should I explain what busses are, as everybody knows them, and those in Munich are just conventional ones.
And I'm afraid the section about inserting prams into trams is quite far from truth.
Gonna fix that this evening, I hope.
A good one, Bossel

And maybe it would be funny to mention the name, which was given by Munich's people to the metro-security: Schwarze Sheriff's (= Black Sheriff's?)
