Well you have now - I am pretty much pro Microsoft. Visual Studio is the best IDE in the business, and it is very cheap. And Office is the definitive small business suite....

Visual Studio is the best for Windows stuff yes but I think you could argue the point over MS Office - if only on cost Star Office will win every time.

Had great problems installing StarOffice. It's a nice idea, but Word is *very* nicely laid out. I don't like the idea of the common program with different modules... the Microsoft approach (separate programs with common interfaces) feels much better.

Installed Star office under MS Windows, Linux and BE OS with no problems although I did cheat and get the CD off Sun. I don't see how you can say MS Office are any less intergrated than Star ?
